Sustainability

More responsible procurement, made easier

At Astore, we see procurement as a powerful lever to address today’s social, environmental and ethical challenges - while creating value for hotels and owners. We turn this into practical, scalable solutions across your operations.
As a leader in sustainable procurement for hospitality, we set and enforce clear standards across our supplier network. Our nominated suppliers must comply with strict ethical, environmental, labor and anti-corruption requirements, supported by a Responsible Procurement Charter, third-party assessments, and continuous monitoring throughout the contract lifecycle.
By working closely with our partners to deliver credible, cost-effective alternatives, we make it easier for your teams to embed more responsible choices into day-to-day operations and guest experience.

Empowering You to Achieve Sustainability Certifications

Hotel certifications like Green Key and Green Globe give your property credible, international recognition for your sustainability achievements. We simplify your path to accreditation by aligning our product and service offerings with the four core pillars these certifications evaluate:
- Sustainable management
- Environmental impact
- Cultural impact
- Socio‑economic impact

Our approach helps your hotel meet internationally recognized sustainability standards.
It enhances your reputation, showcases your commitment to guests, and differentiates your property in the market.

Astore's Approach

From farm to fork, Astore supports your journey toward more ethical and sustainable food and beverage operations, with solutions designed to align with your sustainability goals and deliver tangible value to your hotels and guests.

We focus on three key areas :
Ethical Animal Welfare – partnering with suppliers who respect animal welfare standards.

Leading Plastic-Free and Circular

We make it easy for you to move away from single‑use plastics with turnkey, hotel‑wide solutions. Partnering with trusted suppliers, we redesign product offerings to introduce plastic‑free alternatives from front‑of‑house items such as straws, cups, and toiletries to back‑of‑house essentials.

Beyond plastic reduction, we actively implement circular economy principles by specifying products designed to minimise environmental impact throughout their entire lifecycle, from production and use to end‑of‑life recovery.

A structured path to decarbonization

Astore’s Decarbonization Strategy

Our decarbonization program helps you take control of your carbon footprint - across your procurement - in a way that is structured, measurable and compatible with your day-to-day operations.
At Astore, we assess supplier carbon maturity, define decarbonization action plans with suppliers, and track performance over time.
We complement this approach with concrete solutions - from green energy contracts to energy-saving equipment and services and low carbon offers - helping you reduce emissions across your operations.

Ensuring Compliance and Responsible Supply for Your Hotel

At Astore, procurement is more than sourcing, it safeguards your hotel's operations and reputation. We rigorously select and monitor suppliers throughout the contract lifecycle, applying strict standards on environmental protection, labour rights, anti‑corruption, and data protection.

Our Responsible Procurement Charter sets out clear commitments for partners, reinforced by regular third‑party audits. This ensures our suppliers go beyond compliance while driving higher sustainability performance across our supply chain.

Recognised as a leader in sustainable procurement, Astore embeds these standards at the core of its sourcing strategy: providing your hotel with a compliant, responsible, and reliable supply base, and enabling you to operate with confidence.

Make Smarter, More Sustainable Purchasing Decisions
